Scholarship & Grant Opportunities
AAUW advances equity through advocacy, education, and research.
Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors
Each year, the AAUW Milwaukee Branch awards over $40,000 in scholarships to Milwaukee Public School graduates who are prepared for the rigor of a college education, but have financial need. The applicant must be accepted at an accredited University or College (2 or 4 years) in Southeast Wisconsin. The scholarship is now renewable for up to 4 years total.

*Given our four-year commitment to our scholars, we do not anticipate accepting new College Women's Club Foundation scholarship applications again until Spring 2027.
Girls' Club Grants for the Continuation of Higher Education
To help women whose college studies have been interrupted, the AAUW awards the Girls Club Grant. Applicant must be a woman who has experienced at least a one-year absence from regular enrollment and matriculation processes and is presently enrolled with at least sophomore status in an accredited College/University based in the Greater Milwaukee area. Awardee(s) are provided AAUW membership.

*2024 APPLICATION IS CLOSED.
Please check back in May for the 2025 application.
