Scholarship & Grant Opportunities
AAUW advances equity through advocacy, education, and research.
Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors
Each year, the AAUW Milwaukee Branch awards over $40,000 in scholarships to students who are attending accredited Colleges and Universities (2 or 4 years) in Southeast Wisconsin. Our College Women's Club Foundation Scholarships are awarded to MPS high school graduates who are prepared for the rigor of a college education and have demonstrated leadership in their schools and communities, but who have financial need. They can be renewed for up to 4 years total. Recipients are also provided AAUW student membership.

*Since the College Women's Club Foundation Scholarship is now renewable for up to 4 years, we do not anticipate accepting new applications again until Spring 2027.
Girls' Club Grants for Women Returning to College
To help women whose college studies have been interrupted, the AAUW Milwaukee Branch awards a Girls Club Grant annually. Eligible applicants must be women who have experienced a one or more year absence from regular enrollment and matriculation processes, but who are presently enrolled with at least sophomore status in an accredited College/University based in the Greater Milwaukee area. Awardee(s) are also provided AAUW student membership.
